Build a shaft from cylinder, taper, ball-end and groove segments; get roughing and finish passes for it.
Turning only — a stepped/tapered profile revolved around one axis. Not for milling, pockets or general 3D shapes: a mill engages material with real plunge depth and collision risk, which is a different problem than this tool is built to solve safely. Always run against air or scrap first.
Built from the free end (largest diameter) toward the chuck. Each segment must be the same size or smaller than the one before it.
