Directory
Every shared workshop we know of, not only ours — university fab labs, government facilities, company workshops and independent spaces. If you are looking for somewhere to make something, start here.
We run three of these spaces, and they are marked Ours. The list is ordered alphabetically within each state — we have not put ourselves first, and we do not take a fee from anyone listed.
Entries marked unconfirmed were compiled from public sources and have not been checked with the space directly. Access, equipment and opening hours vary enormously — a university lab may be open only to its own students, and a government facility may require an appointment. Contact a space before travelling.

This list is only useful if it is right. If you run a space we have missed, or we have a detail wrong about yours, tell us and we will fix it — there is no charge and nothing to sign.
Nigeria has room for many more of these than it has. We help schools, companies and public bodies set them up, and we have written down what it costs — including the running costs that close spaces in their second year.
